Language allows us not only to interact with one another on a basic level, but also it allows us to share our innermost thoughts, feelings, secrets and desires. Our thoughts and words, both spoken and written, are not always expressed as they should be. She is interested in exploring the planes of language, to examine the intimacy of thought in conjunction with the written word. Ironically, as a society we communicate on so many levels, yet we fail to divulge our deepest longings, especially after our most basic needs are met. However, in some instances, we really are at a loss for words.
